Happy Apple that was loved by all of my children. This is the only baby toy that we have kept as it was universally loved. It could always elicit a smile from the kiddos.
Taken with Pentax K10D, 100mm 2.8 Pentax lens, ISO 100, F 11, SS 1/6, external flash in slave mode.

This is cool, is it a toy bin? Looks like it got some good use with all those scratches on it. I like how the flash made it so the background is so dark, this makes the shot more simple because there are no background distractions. I also like the angle you took the shot on. One thing to watch out for is the hot spot near the left eye, play with the angle of your flash and see if you can get rid of that spot. This is a well done shot.

Scratches? We call those love taps growing up but this is a really cool shot too. I do like the dark background which helps draw the focus in on Happy Apple. I see what Travis means about the hot spot but I didn't even notice it at first. I enjoyed this one as well.

I think this is a great idea, but I'm not a big fan of the flash mark in the middle. I do love how the background is dark, though.

I really like how this shows the wear and tear [and love] that this toy has obviously recieved! Nice colour and I like the composition and angle.
I can't tell how big it is though, not that that is a bad thing. At first I thought it was one of those big balls with a handle that kids can sit on and bounce!!

I like the dark background as well. I never had a toy like this - apparently I am missing out. I love all the scratches that show all the love!!

Just so everyone knows, this is a small baby toy with a bell like noise inside. Kind of a roly poly type of toy...you push it and it wobbles back and forth with the bell making noise. My oldest daughter (who is 23) when she was an infant would always smile when she saw the big toothless smile on the apple. We would turn the apple away from her and then turn it towards her...smile every time LOL. It's only about 6 or 7 inches tall. I always thought this was a pretty common toy, guess not. Very Happy

I like the shadows and colors of the leaf. I also like the scratches across the toys face, it give it great character. Good job.

I knew what this toy was when I saw it. I can't remember if we had one or I have just seen it at other peoples homes. I like your lighting. It draws you into the center of the picture to really focus on the eyes.

My sister had one just like that-really brought back memories of childhood-well done to evoke that in me-I hated the shimes in that toy but the angle of the smile really made me wish my mom kept ot for nostalgic reasons now!
