I really like how you added the horn to this shot. Although I think this is some decorative horn, because I've never seen an instrument like that before. Anyway, I like all the circles formed by the horn, and the way it goes off into the corner of the picture up towards the mouth piece. I think I like the dof you chose, although I think I would have moved the words a little further away from the keys on the horn. The reason being, the title is our focus here, and the keys are so much closer to the camera that with the dof you chose they are pretty oof, and being so close to the main focus of the picture distracts a little bit. I also really like the black background, especially since your title is night. Well done on this one.

I like the lines of this shot. I just think the composition needs a bit of tweaking. The OOF part of the horn in the front cutting through the photo is a bit distracting. I think a bit of rearranging of this could produce a great photo. Love the simple, black background.

It's a classic french horn, isn't it? (Reading Travis' note.) I love the shot. I kind of wish the "Night" was a little more in the center of my focus but off to the side is nice as well. I love the varnish on the horn and I even like the glare the horn has to it. The black background is a great touch.

I like this shot...great DOF, great job combining objects....but I don't like the crop...I'd like to see the whole horn.

I think you did a great job with this one. I actually like the whole thing. I think that the focus is on the horn and not on the music so I like that the title is hidden a bit - yet it is there. I like how the focus is on the back of the picture and not the front. Great job!

I love your composition and the way that the title is in focus. Love the wear and tear of the horn. Nice job overall!
