I really like the emotion with this shot. The way the light falls off as we follow the strings up is really cool. I also like how the whole violin forms that diagonal line through the frame. This was composed well. I think in your pping you may have saturated the wood a little too much though, it may just be on this computer, but where the light is the brightest it looks a little too saturated. I really like the texture in the wood though. This is a great shot.

I like the mood this shot portrays. The lighting is really nice. I'm not sure if you oversharpened or what but it looks a bit too photoshopped in the sharpening or saturation...not sure exactly which.

Well as if I even know how to use photoshop to do all the sharpening and saturation so to me it looks really good. I do think I would've liked to have seen more of the grain in the violin but I'm perfectly happy with the way it is.

This is my favorite shot this week! I love the mood...I Love the strings going into the darkness...I love the saturated spot (it's like there is a lone spotlight on an otherwise completely dark stage)...anyways....GREAT job!

This is one of my favorites for the week also. I tried a lot of different angles in my shot but never tried shooting the strings from this perspective. I love the angle and the spotlight on the strings also!
