Reflections

Taken with my new fish-eye lens. This was done by bracketing 5 shots at 1 EV difference for each shot, then merged to HDR in PS.

Nice image. Great relfection and really nice HDR conversion. The only CC I have for the shot is I would have liked to see it pulled back just a bit so the top of the building wasn't cut off or more of the building is in the shot. Might complete the image a bit more. And I would have liked to see the edge of the pond on the left side to mirror the right side.

i like this one it is fun with the fish lens. i wanted to see more. more of the pond and more of the building, you see most of the building in the reflection but it felt unfinished. love the clouds and the shadowing.

I would have to agree with the comments above. I like how it is reflected in the pond, but would like to see more of the actual building in the picture.

Great picture and what a cool effect! I really like it. I know this sounds like a broken record, but trust me I thought of my own comments before reading everyone elses. I too think that, even though the emphasis in the challenge is the water it is distracting that the Temple is cut in half. I keep looking up to see where the top is. I love the way the fish lense makes the building seem to fade off into the distance on the side (even though you know they are so close). Good job!

I have to be honest, the first thing I thought of when I looked at your picture was football! That has nothing to do with the picture but just the fact that we just watched the superbowl and saw an amazing comeback by the Giants to win the Pats!!!! Even though I know you didn't mean to do that, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the picture, thank you for the wonderful memory!

I actually disagree with the comments above. I like the off-centered pond and am more drawn to the reflected image, so it doesn't bother me that the actual building is cut off. Great shot!

I agree with Farrah. I actually love the fact the bldg is cut off but not in the reflection. That is quite the allusion as well as the "bending" effect of the picture.
