Another great subject for this theme! I think I would have liked to see a bit of a tighter crop. I like the dark shadow in the blue cloth though - adds a nice touch of interest to the background.

I like this shot...however, I think it'd change the focus to focus on the front piece of broken glass...as it is, it's a little distracting.

I agree with Farrah - the pice closest to the camera kind of blurs the shot and distracts my eye but I think it was a good attempt at something VERY sharp and quite painful when stepped on.

I really like this shot, and the dof choice is great. The broken glass also leads me right to the broken cup. I think the composition of this shot was done well. I agree with the other comments though, that piece of glass right in the front is really distracting from the rest of the shot. It takes up about a quarter of the frame and makes it hard to focus on the rest of the frame. If you took that piece out of the shot I think you would have a better image.

Great job. I have to agree that the piece of glass is a bit distracting, and I would have liked a tighter crop. I love all the light reflecting off of the glass and the blue background makes the picture really clean. I think the idea is wonderful for this theme. Broken glass really hurts!

My only CC would be to remove the large chunk of glass from the front. The other broken glass adds to the picture, I like it. Your focus is good. I like the blue background except the part kind of in the middle. The really dark blue is okay and the majority of the other blue is okay. There is just a section kind of in the middle that is distracting. This could be because I have been looking at the picture for so long, but the wrinkles are starting to bug me. Nice job and nice take on the challenge.

Agree with other comments, cropped more tightly could have been this challenge winner.

The large chunk should be out of the pic and I'd prefer the focus to fall on the glass pieces leading us to the broken glass. Probably would be better shot with a larger F stop to get more of the shot in focus.
