New Intro

Very new here...Fairly new to Peas... pretty new to photography. My dh surprised me with a camera for Christmas 07. I have always liked taking pictures but I'm very excited to really learn how to take really nice photos that are composed well, properly exposed, creative etc. My goal is to try to stop using auto set-ups. Its a difficult habit to break when I am unsure of my ability.
Any way thanks for providing this forum and challenge. I have spent a little time looking at the instructional guides for cameras and photoshop. These will help me. I also love looking at the challenges past/present to learn and see different perspectives.

You learn buy participating. The more you jump in there and do it the faster you'll learn. People here are great at offering suggestions on how to improve. Glad you have joined us, now lets see some of your shots.
