I think you have captured a great moment here. Anytime you can get something like this you draw in interest to your picture. I think I would have liked to see this in tighter though. I think a nice closeup on their hands doing the knitting would add interest to the shot. Try cropping it in a bit so we can really get into the knitting with them. Also it seems as though the hands are a little oof. I can't see the EXIF data so I'm not sure if this is due to a slow shutter, or to a shallow dof, but you really want to get those hands in focus especially for a challenge where they are supposed to be your subject. Over all you did a nice job with this shot.

What a great moment. I think it's a little underexposed and the colors are flat. I also wish you'd have zoomed in on the hands more.

This is such a sweet moment you captured. I agree that it could be made better if it were brightened up and added a little contrast, but overall I like this!

I really like the moment you captured here, but for the theme, I would like to see this shot zoomed in more on the hands. I love the concentration I can feel in this shot.

Wow - I had a hard time getting knitting at age 25 - your daughter is brave! A precious moment kind of shot and those are the kind you're glad you captured.
