Cool shot. I'm not sure if I like the dramatic tilt in this. But I do like how the snow is coming up onto the runners.

This is a great, and unique idea. I think you chose a great subject for this challenge. Like a lot of the other shots though I think we are getting too limited a perspective on this. I would either like to see just one specific detail of the sled or the entire thing. I think it would just look better if we had a wider view of the whole thing. I really like the angle you have this on as well. The other major problem I'm having with this is that I can't find the focal point of the photo. I can't quite find a spot that looks like it is all in focus. I wish I could see the EXIF data to see what your settings were, but it seems that you may have been too close to be in your focusing range, or you just used too shallow of a dof and missed the point. I really like the thought behind this one.

Love the snow on the edge, but the tilt is too much for me. I like the muted colors... gives it a "cold" look for me.

I like the funky tilt but the snow looks a little gray to me. It would be more effective if the snow was brighter and the red was really bright. Also looks a little blurry or oof to me. With a few minor improvements this could be a ribbon winning shot!

ummm...I think you posted this photo awhile ago on 2Peas??? Anyways...I like it and I like the DOF...the angle is a little severe for my taste, but I like that it's on an angle...just maybe a little less of an angle...I'm not making any sense. LOL

Wow - Farrah is out for the kill on that one! Called you OUT! I'm with everyone - would've loved, loved, loved the shot (even more) if the angle wasn't as severe. Other than that - nice shot!

Farrah you are right I did post it on 2peas the same day I entered it here-I need all the CC I can get to improve. I had a hard time getting this without the sled sliding down the hill-the angle was out of necessity to get the shot before it took off. Our snowbanks are so high that the angle kept the sled on the hill- I was hold part of the sled to keep it there while shooting...confusing I know to explain but well I thought I ought to-I am the queen of tilt sometimes.

I really like this shot and I like the tilt. I don't think it is too extreme, as it gives the feeling of it being on a hill, not just tilted in the shot. Great job.

You're right...it was even titled for the photo challenge...ignore me...I've been confused lately! LOL I wasn't calling you OUT or anything...I just remembered seeing and had liked it then too.
