Daddy

I think this is a great shot. I really love the emotion behind it. I also like the rose and I think that is what really makes this shot. I usually don't like selective coloring, I think it is over done; however, when used appropriately it is a very nice touch. I think it was a wise choice to do it here. The only thing I wish was different in this shot was that the bottom right corner wasn't cut off, I keep wandering over there trying to find the rest of the headstone. Overall, this is a nicely done shot.

When I picked the topic "Father's" my husband was worried that someone wouldn't feel like they could participate because their father had passed away. I was touched to see this photo. It does carry alot of emotion and that is a powerful thing. I like the focus on the rose because it goes from being a grave stone to being about the loved ones left behind. I agree with the corner of the stone though. Thankyou for sharing this shot.

Ahhh....that is a really sweet idea for this theme. I like it. I'm not a fan of selective color, but I think it works here.

I like the emphasis on the rose of love, wish the corner was not cropped.
