Uploading Pictures for Challenges

Since people will need to upload their pictures to the gallery for submitting to a challenge I decided to do a quick tutorial on how this is done. If it is confusing in some way let me know and I'll modify the tutorial to try and make it more clear.

First from anywhere in the forum you should be able to get to the gallery from the links in the header. Just click on the gallery link as shown here circled in red.



Now you see all the different gallery categories, you should see one that is the category for all the challenge albums. So go into that category by clicking on the challenges link as shown here circled in red.



Now you should be able to see all the albums for the challenges, the current challenge to vote on should show up, as well as previous challenges entries that you can look through. From here there is a button for submitting photos. Click on that button shown here circled in red.



Now you are at the form for uploading your picture. It should look like this.



Fill in a title for your picture, any description that you'd like. Then click the browse button to find your picture on your computer, remember it must be under 120 KB and no longer than 640 pixels on each side, this information is on the form in case you forget. The upload category should be, as in the screen shot, challenges, so you shouldn't need to change it. Then click save to upload your picture.

Once you upload your picture I will go in and check that it isn't offensive and that the date on the picture is within the challenge time period. If I have any problems I'll let you know via PM. Then I'll move it into the album for that challenge, which will be hidden until voting starts, and you should be good to go. If you are concerned that your picture didn't make it, just PM me and I'll let you know if I saw it. Also if you need to resubmit, just PM me first so I can remove the old one, since there is a limit of one shot per challenge, then you can submit another shot.
