Re: Jumping Rope
I like this shot...I might like it better if you'd took out the splotch in the upper left corner.

Re: Jumping Rope
For some reason this picture looks very familiar, like I have seen it somewhere else. Anyway, I like the shot. It reminds me of all the time I spent jump roping on the asphalt. I like how we can make out the complete figure in the shadow, as well as being able to see the rope. One thing that is a little distracting to me is the darker spot on the top left. I think you could have cloned that out. I wouldn't have thought it would be a big deal, but my eye keeps going over there. Nicely done with this shot.
Re: Jumping Rope

Re: Jumping Rope
Great job on this one. I love how her feet are positioned and that you can see her whole body in the shadow. I didn't even notice the smudge because my attention was immediately drawn from her feet to the shadow.
Re: Jumping Rope
Nice job of freezing the action and getting a good shadow out of it. I really like that we see the full shadow and only 1/2 the person. It adds more interest and you are immediately drawn the the shadow to see the rest of her. There is a small spot above the jump roper that I would have cloned or cropped out. I also find that spot on the cement to the left a bit distracting.
