I love the colors of the wood. I think it would be a little better if the left side of the trunk were more in focus. Good picture.

Love the purple "smoke" in the background. The wood is so interesting - great job capturing that as well! Good shot!

Great picture. I just really like the colors in the wood and the way the photo displays them and the grain in the wood. Good job.

interesting subject. for me on this one the colors in the background and the colors in the wood don't match. might be cool with clouds in the sky. i would have also liked to see it more crisp.

The colors in the wood are STUNNING, and so is the "smoky" sky! WOW! I agree about the left side of the photo getting a little OOF, I wish the wood were sharp throughout, but overall, great shot!

Interesting shot. Good spot on the V. Looks a little oversharpened or something to me. Not sure if it's my monitor or what. Also a bit overprocessed for colors. While the background is interesting, a nice blue sky background would have made the colors of the wood pop a bit more.

Like the idea but perhaps an offcenter shot would have enhance the angles of the V more-it's like the V bisets the image, the color is odd to me but I am color starved this year so far perhaps it's just my eye/monitor!
