Ratings

I just realized that the number of pictures happens to match the number of ratings this week. That is purely coincidence. You aren't supposed to rank the pictures 1 to 5, but instead each picture should be given a rating 1 through 5 with 5 being the best. You can give all the shots 5s or, one 5 and a couple of 4s, or all 3s, whatever you think each individual shot deserves. I hope this makes sense.

Regarding the ratings: is it possible to modify the rates to allow for 'half marks'.
I find it frustrating when I know an image is (for example) worth more than 3 but not really a 4. Realize that this might not be possible but wanted to ask anyway.

Right now I don't have any control over the ratings. I actually want a 1-10 scale, but I can't change it. The people who provide these forums have a place for suggestions and I am trying to push for that, as well as a few other changes I would like to see. A lot of the suggestions don't even get considered unless enough people vote saying they think it would be a good idea, so maybe you guys could all go over there and vote for this. You can find my gallery suggestions thread here. If you want to vote for it you'll just need to create an account through that forum and vote. Leaving a comment would be good to, to bump it up, they are really strict about double posting over there so I can only bump it up so much. If you do leave a comment you probably shouldn't make it look like you are a member of my forum, that forum is really for forum admins, so just say you think it would be nice to see on your forum. Anyway, if you want to, go ahead and vote over there to help get those changes put through.
