Helloooo!

My name is Melissa. I'm 23 years old. I've been married almost 2 years and I have a little girl, Adielle, that will be 1 in two weeks! I have a lot of friends that are really into photography, but I never found the joy in it myself. That is until I had my babe. All I wanted to do ALL day was take pictures of her. I didn't want to miss ANYTHING!! And my husband was working so much that he missed out on a lot, so I took pics to help him stay invovled, I guess. But I think what really sparked my interest, as far as wanting to study it and make it more of a profession, was when Janae did a little photo shoot of my Adi. I always just took pics of her how she was, and it never occured to me that I could pose her. We had fun and the pictures turned out SO cute, (thanks Janae Wink

), that I realized I could get better looking shots and still capture the moments I wanted. I was really excited to learn more from the Coopers, but then we moved down here to St. George. bummer.

I am way thrilled that Travis started this forum. Not only am I learning more about photography, but I'm able to find beauty in other things, besides just Adi. So thanks guys!

Hey, we are glad to have you on board. Keep taking those pictures and improving. Now I just need to get you to do my tutorials on my blog so you can learn to start shooting in manual instead of auto. Then your pictures would get even better.
