ROCK ON! Empty Re: ROCK ON!

I had to give this one a low rating because I don't think it meets the challenge. I don't consider stage lighting a single light source. I'm pretty sure there is more than one light here.

Aside from that, I think that this is an interesting picture. Not my type of band, thats for sure, but I think you gave the shot the look that fits this drummer well. I am a little distracted by the really harsh shadow on the back from the symbol, maybe cropping that out, or shooting from a different angle would have helped. I also don't like that his elbow is chopped off, it would be nice to have his whole arm in the shot. Overall I think the shot fits well with the atmosphere, but just doesn't fit the challenge.

Not a bad photo but I did give a lower score due to the multiple light sources shown by the multiple shadows in the picture and didn't follow the rules for this subject.

I think I would have considered the stage lighting (all of them combined) as the single light source, however I understand the previous comments in that it isn't probably a "single" light.

I think it is a cool shot. I think maybe if the shot was directed a little more to the right, eliminating the left hand symbol that is cut in half completely, and including the entire elbow on the right hand side of the picture it may have been stronger. What band is this?

Interesting shot...I'm not sure that I'm all that fond of the mask...but considering the lighting, you did a great job on this whole session. "single" light source or not??? I'm not sure. I do also really like the coloring of this shot.
