LEARNING TO READ... Learni10
My daughter is learning to read and getting better and better each day. She loves to sit down and read on her own now so I had to capture that moment.

I really like the feel of this photo. I like how the dimmer light actually add to the atmosphere that the child is trying to get in some last minute reading before going to bed, reading to a small lamp next to them. Who hasn't done that in their life? Good job.

I like the feel and atmosphere of this shot also. Surely a picture you'll cherish...nothing better than learning to read with Dr. Suess! I think it may have made the shot more interesting to focus on the book actually instead of her head...having the book in the light and in focus with your daughter more out of focus may have made it stronger, in my opinion.

I like the atmosphere of this shot...but would have rather preferred the focus to be on the book, since we can't see your dd's face.

I agree with the other comments that I really think the focus should have been on the book, rather than the back of her head. I also wish that the lighting was coming from behind her, rather than in front of her. Maybe I'm just off on where the lighting actually is, but it really looks like it is coming from the other side of the book. If a child is up reading usually they would have the light on the book, rather than on the other side. Other than that I think this is a good shot, it is a great memory to capture, and the atmosphere is great.
