Wow, this is a great shot. The pping was really well done. I love the diagonal lines formed by the rails of the stairs and the lines of the metal in the stairs themselves. The composition in this shot is just fantastic. Those are some old roller skates, I'm surprised they are still around. The only suggestion I would have is to go a little wider or a little tighter. The tip of the brake is cut off and I'm not sure if I like where the wheel is cropped out either. I think just going a little wider would be better, but those are pretty minor, I had to look for a while to find something I didn't like.

Oh the good times we all had to have had with our skates and the awesome stoppers in the front that always sent me flying to the ground. I love the color scheme you used. Backing them up to the browns/orange colors made the yellow pop. Cool shot!

Nice effect. I get what you are going for here. I might suggest moving your angle around to the right a bit. Only seeing the back part of the other skate makes you wonder about it. I think compositionally it may be stronger if we can see some of the front or side of it. Also watch out for cutting off the wheel and brake. Not a good spot to cut IMO. Love the coloring in this shot.

Those are some very cool and funky skates! I really like this shot, but would like to see a little less of the wood in the foreground! Nice colours too.

I love this shot!! Great job Janae!! Love those skates as well - they have seen many happy kids. I wouldn't change anything about this shot. I think it is done really well. I love the diagnoal lines and the stairs!!

Sweet! I lived for roller skating when I was a kid. I only wish I had some that looked this awesome! I agree about having the back skate more in the shot. The angles are great!! The colors are great! And all-in-all, it's a great picture!!

I really like your picture. I like how you framed it in the diagonal lines and how the color of the skates help you focus on what the picture is about. I also love the fact that you have the SKATES sitting on the steps waiting for that unsuspecting parent to come walking down and step on them. Definately a place that kids would put skates!!!!! Love it!

I love the lighting on this one and also how you can see the textures on the skate so well. Great angle, as well.
