The challenge is Macro Eyes. Basically we want to see a macro shot, 1:1 ratio or larger, of an eye, or multiple eyes. This could be a human eye, a cat eye, a fly's eyes, etc. Just get up close and personal with an eye, or eyes, and bring out the details. The challenge is panning. She didn't really give me a description, so I don't want to say a shot of somebody panning for gold is out. However, the basic idea behind panning is to use a slower shutter speed and move with your subject so that they are in focus and the background is blurred, giving a sense of motion to the picture. This is a fun technique and it takes some practicing, so I'm excited to see the results we can ...
