Canon PS800IS manual F2.8 ss1/4 manual WB-this was tougher than I initially thought it would be-taken with one lamp overhead. Adjusted curves in PSPXI.

Great idea and definite single light source. The shot seems a little out of focus to me, but having played around with shots of fruit in the past I know it may just be the texture of the apple?

I like the idea of this shot...especially with the light reflection...but I don't see any part that's in focus.

I think this is a great idea, but as others have pointed out it is hard to tell where the focus fell. I wonder if you were standing closer than your minimum focusing distance for that lens, if that is the case it would explain why nothing looks in focus. I also think I would have only had one apple, rather than trying to have two in the shot. I think this was a good idea.
